Tahini is a paste made from ground sesame seeds which gives it a creamy texture. It contains more phytosterols than most nuts and seeds, which help lower cholesterol and promote heart health. It has 20% complete protein, making it a richer protein source than most nuts. Just 2 tablespoons of Tahini provides 10% of the recommended daily value of protein and 12% of the recommended daily value of calcium! Tahini is high in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat which are healthy fats! It’s rich in omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids, which our bodies do not produce naturally. They are beneficial to consume through food and are important in brain functioning, bone health, regulating metabolism, and providing energy!

Garlic has been used for centuries in traditional medicine and home remedies. It is nutrient-rich in Manganese, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin C which are essential for overall wellness. It has important healing powers against high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, and different types of cancer. Incorporating garlic in your daily diet is a delicious way to enjoy its beneficial phytochemicals and nutrients.

You can easily make a bigger batch of this dressing and store it in your fridge all week long! Spice up your favorite salad or enjoy with practically anything – veggies, sandwiches, you name it.
