A bit of inspiration from Kris Carr landed in my inbox this morning. Kris is a health advocate that has been a great source of inspiration to me over the last few years. Make time to do this short exercise today. I have done it many times throughout my life and it always lifts my spirit and grounds me.
Get a piece of blank paper and complete this sentence: "If I could give my younger self some nurturing advice, I'd tell her . . ."
Here is how mine went today,
If I could give my younger self some nurturing advice, I'd tell her to play a little (or a lot) each day. Plant seeds of love everywhere you go and watch your garden overflow with beauty and joy.
When the going gets tough you will keep on going. That is the way it is. Don't you dare give up hope. All the worry in the world will not solve the smallest of problems. Trust that the universe will take care of you. You are worthy!
Life is short and moves quickly, slow it down with deep breaths. Every once in a while, pause your daily routines long enough to realize there may be options you had not considered. Step back and look at people, things and situations as though you are seeing them for the very first time. Answers are everywhere. Be in awe of the world that surrounds you.
You are loved for who you are. Speak your truth always. Share your gifts with the world – the world needs you and your beautiful spirit. Love unconditionally.
